Acceptance for me was like a small creek. Calm but always moving, never judging itself for which direction it travels. Accepting that my father and grandfather were gone only came through patience and kindness to myself. I cannot be upset for trying to bargain with the universe. I cannot be mad that my depression seeped in during a vacation. I cannot be angry that I am angry.
